The debut album of Aaliyah Age Ain't Nothin but a Number came out in 1994. In the age group of 15 years old, the album earned Gold standing. R. Kelly heavily influenced the group and helped bring the singer into the spotlight. In 1996, she released her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. It contained the hit number one track If Your Girl only was aware. The second album of Aaliyah, One in a Million came out in the year 1996. It featured the top smash single,"If Your Girl Only Knew. She was a part of the martial arts legend Jet Li in the 2000 action-romance film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at a awards ceremony and offered the role. Queen of the Damned was her debut role in 2002. It is based off an Anne Rice novel. She then got into the Matrix in the form of Zee in The Matrix Sequels having also been as a character in The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 and The Matrix Revolutions in the same year. The artist has received four Grammy nominations from 1999 to 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is the first generation Indian-American born and raised in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann originates from her husband's name Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. While she started out with tiny film and television parts, her acting career began becoming more popular in the middle of 2000s. Some of her most notable roles include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She also appeared in several commercials, including Volvo and other major automobile brands. The actress currently resides in Los Angeles along with her wife, son and daughter. She also pursues her acting profession.
