Eva Mendes is both an actor as well as a model. The talent agency she worked with was aware of her talents and urged her to pursue a career as an actor or model. After much deliberation her decision was to drop out of her university to join the entertainment industry. Her debut came in the film 'Children of the Corn' in Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. She put in a lot of effort to improve her acting abilities and appeared in numerous low-budget movies in order to demonstrate her talents. It was not an easy path for this actor however, her determination and persistence did not go unrewarded. Following her triumph in Training Day, her career as an actor took off. Some of her well-known films include 2 Fast 2 Fast and Furious Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and Holy Motors.
